North east minor hockey is an integral part of the Edmonton minor hockey and also the part on north east sports council which includes not only hockey but also other games like soccer, softball and baseball. Parents enjoy the opportunity to have their child participate in the world’s greatest sport.  They also teach and encourage their child to play their best game, while acting as a role model for good sportsmanship.  Minor hockey in Edmonton is a part of the Canadian Heritage and we should celebrate what minor hockey provides us.  We encourage all participants to consider their role.   The referees work hard to study the game rules and will use their best judgment to ensure that the game is played with fairness and the utmost safety.  They also contribute and volunteer my time to make this one of the best hockey tournaments in the world.
