The Human Resources Department manages a number of personnel functions including recruitment and hiring of employees; prepares the MRDD Table of Organization which reflects all positions approved by the Superintendent' collects and maintains the personnel files of all employees, past and present, in accordance with the law; maintains and updates the computerized Human Resource Program; prepares, modifies, and evaluates all position descriptions to insure that they meet current law, as well as accurately reflects employees' functions; tracks all required certification and/or registration and assists employees to remain current; provides information to employees on all benefits such as health insurance, retirement, etc.; insures that evaluations are completed in a timely manner for all employees; addresses any and all queries from governmental agencies on personnel (EEOC, etc.); and takes an active part in all labor management issues.

The Superintendent of the Clermont County Board of MRDD is the hiring authority for all Board employees.  Clermont MRDD currently has 193 full-time employees in both direct service and support positions.  All positions require at least a high school diploma or equivalent.  All direct service positions are either required to be licensed by the State of Ohio or must be certified or registered by the Ohio Department of MRDD.
